Inpark builds giant logistics centre for Bosch

January 26 2017, Budapest, Hungary – Inpark will soon launch one of the largest industrial property developments in recent years. The 62,000 sqm facility in Hatvan will serve as the new logistics centre of the German Bosch Group under a 16-year lease agreement. The project, which is the second large scale development of Inpark within a short time, is expected to be finished by April 2018 and will create 250 new jobs.

Bosch will establish its new regional logistics centre in the facility. Inpark, known as the brand name of industrial property development group NIPÜF, will deliver the project to the highest technical and technological standard. The centre will operate as part of Bosch’s logistics network of more than 800 premises; and the entire Central and Eastern European region will be served from Hatvan.

Inpark’s investment will be approximately HUF 17 billion, 75 percent of which is covered by bank loan. Bosch undertakes to increase the volume of its procurements from Hungarian suppliers by EUR 60 million in the next six years. When the logistics centre starts operating, the company will be the largest foreign employer in Hungary, providing jobs to 14,700 people.

Last November, Inpark began the construction of another multinational corporation’s distribution centre in Páty. The 23,000 sqm facility for a logistics service provider is being developed with an investment of HUF 5 billion and will be completed in July 2017.
